OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Hawkesbury Hawks are pleased to announce that forward Mathieu Sabourin has committed to NCAA Southern Maine University for the 2021-22 season.
The 2000 born Alexandria, ON native recently completed his final season of junior hockey with the Hawks. Over the course of 46 career games played, Sabourin totaled 14 points (6G, 8A).
Prior to his time with the Hawks, he played two seasons with the Jr B Charlan Rebels and two seasons as a member of the Cornwall Colts U18 AAA program. He came up through the Seaway Valley Rapids AA program.
