Commitment Alert | Grads Tristan Francis commits to Oswego State for 2020-21

 

Navan, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Navan Grads are pleased to announce that defenceman Tristan Francis has committed to NCAA Oswego State University for the 2020-21 season.

The 1999 born Orleans, ON native is in his fourth and final season with the Grads where he has totaled 36 points (7G, 29A) in 53 games this season. Over the course of 193 combined regular season and playoff games, Francis has totaled 67 points (13G, 54A). 

Known for his sound two-way game and leadership abilities, Francis has spent the past five seasons within the Grads organization. He was selected by them in the 2015 CCHL Draft, spent a season with their HEOMAAA club before making the jump to the big club and never looking back.

He is the fifth Grads player to make a college commitment this season, joining Alex Aslanidis (Western Michigan), Quinton Fox (Amherst College), Alex Wisco (Amherst College), and Gabriel Crete (Colgate University).
