Commitment Alert | Grads Alec Lovisek commits to Adrian College for 2022-23

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Navan Grads are pleased to announce that 2001 born Pickering, ON native Alec Lovisek has committed to NCAA Adrian College for the 2022-23 school year.

Lovisek was named an Assistant Captain of the Grads prior to the 2021-2022 season; and has registered 9 goals, 9 assists and 18 points in 25 games thus far in his final year of junior eligibility. Lovisek was recruited by the Navan Grads prior to the 2019-2020 season and has become an integral part of the Grads program both on and off the ice during his 3 seasons in a Grads uniform.

Navan Grads Head Coach and General Manager Marty Abrams offered his congratulations to Alec on his commitment to Adrian College, “We are pleased to announce Alec’s commitment to Adrian. Here in Navan, we have watched him develop into an elite player and expect his growth to continue at the NCAA level. Alec came to Navan with the goal to improve his game and to obtain an NCAA opportunity. We look forward to him finishing his junior career in Navan and wish him all the best at Adrian.”

Adrian College is currently the #1 ranked NCAA Division III hockey program in the country with an 18-1-0-0 record this season. Lovisek is thrilled about the opportunity to join the Adrian Bulldogs program next season, “Super excited to continue my education and hockey career at Adrian College; huge thanks to my coaches and teammates in Navan and everyone who has helped me get here.”
