Commitment Alert | Canadians Keenan Reynolds to join U Sports Royal Military College

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Carleton Place Canadians are pleased to announce that forward Keenan Reynolds has committed to U Sports Royal Military College for the 2019-20 season.

The 1998 born Ottawa, ON native recently completed his final year of junior hockey with Carleton Place where he totaled 37 points (16G, 21A) in 64 combined regular season and playoff games. In 152 carer games between the Canadians and Navan Grads, Reynolds tallied 41 goals and totaled 100 points.

“I think I’m going to handle the transition to RMC and U Sports well,” said Reynolds. Having played 5 years of junior hockey in both the CCHL and OHL, I am going to be coming in mature and experienced. I think I can credit more development to my time in Carleton Place than anything else. Jason Clarke puts emphasis on the little things and turned me into a complete hockey player. Playing in the CCHL was a blast, and I made lots of friendships and connections that will last a life time.”

“I chose RMC because it is an amazing opportunity for my future. Attending such a prestigious school, and being able to continue to play hockey at an elite level was simply too good to pass up. I chose RMC because Officers in the Canadian Military are widely respected and the career opportunities that come with being an officer in the military are exceptional. My family has tremendous respect for the military and in my opinion there is no greater honour than serving your country.

Reynolds also spent two seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Owen Sound Attack and Flint Firebirds and played his minor hockey with he Eastern Ontario Wild and Ottawa Jr 67’s AAA programs.
