Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Brockville Braves are pleased to announce that defenseman Simon Kerr has committed to U Sports Carleton University for the 2020-21 season.
The 1999 born Kingston, ON native is in his third full season with the Braves where he has totaled 50 points (17G, 33A) in 59 games of action. Known as a leader on and off the ice, Kerr wears the captaincy with pride and leads by example. He sits fourth overall among league defenders in Points and third overall in Goals.
In 194 combined regular season and playoff games, Kerr has totaled 116 points (38G, 78A).
He joins teammates Konnor MacCormick (University of Ottawa), Justin McRae (University of Ottawa), and Jake Begley (Colorado College) of players heading off to the collegiate ranks next season.
