The Central Canada Hockey League and Brockville Braves are pleased to announce that defenseman Matthieu Wuth has committed to NCAA Hobart College for 2020-21.
The 2000 born Westminster, CO native recently completed his second season as a member of the Braves organization, totaling 27 points (7G, 20A) in 61 games of action. In 80 career regular season and playoff games with the Braves, the two-way defenseman totaled 29 points (7G, 22A). He played the majority of the 2018-19 season with the Braves affiliate Brockville Tikis of the CCHL2, registering 22 points (5G, 17A) in 41 combined regular season and playoff match-ups.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Wuth suited up in the NAPHL for the Rock Mountain Roughriders from 2016-2018.
Wuth is the seventh player from the 2019-20 Braves lineup to commit to a college/university program, joining Ryan Gillespie (Clarkson University-2022-23) Jake Begley (Colorado College), Clay Corpi (Colby College), Justin McRae (University of Ottawa), Konnor MacCormick (University of Ottawa), and Simon Kerr (Carleton University).
