Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Smiths Falls Bears are pleased to announce that forward Brendan Dempsey has committed to NCAA SUNY Fredonia for the 2020-21 season.
The 2000 born Shelby Township, MI native totaled 28 points (14G, 14A) in 55 games of action this past season. In two seasons and 107 games played between the Bears and Pembroke Lumber Kings, Dempsey tallied 21 goals and totaled 47 points.
He becomes the second member of the Bears to make a college commitment for the 2020-21 season, joining Ryan Richardson (Clarkson University).
