Ottawa, ON – Two games of action across the CCHL region on Thursday saw the Cornwall Colts and Smiths Falls Bears claiming victories.

Jeremy Cote, Matthew Toporowski, and Sam Gaudreau tallied goals, while Rico DiMatteo made 31-saves as Cornwall improved to 17-28-1-2 on the season. Pembroke, who fell to 22-21-2-1 on the year, had a 37-save effort from Reece Proulx in the loss.

Tate Leeson, Justin Trudel, and Brendan Dempsey scored in regulation, Noah Adams scored the overtime winner, while Jake Smith made 39-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 20-18-2-2 on the year. Kanata, who saw their record fall to 19-20-2-5, had goals from Dante Hoffman, Will Larsen, and Luca Nocita, while Vincent Bujold-Roux made 49-saves in the losing effort.
