CJHL Release | Canadians Devon Levi named Top Goaltender in Nation

The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Carleton Place Canadians goaltender Devon Levi has been named the Top Goaltender in Canada by the Canadian Junior Hockey League

The 2001 born Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC native and Northeastern University commit adds to his list of yearly accolades, which include CJHL Top Rookie honours, as well as CCHL Top Prospect and Most Valuable Player. Levi led the entire country with a 1.47 GAA and 8 shutouts, while finishing  2nd in Wins (34) and third in SV% (.941).

On top of back-stopping Carleton Place to their seventh straight regular season title, Levi also participated in the CJHL Top Prospects Game and represented Canada East at the 2019 World Junior A Challenge, helping them to a Silver Medal and earning tournament MVP. He is the 8th ranked North American goaltender for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft.

“Devon is just a special person and athlete,” said Canadians Head Coach Jason Clarke. “There is not a selfish bone in his body, which makes him the best teammate I have ever seen in this program in over 11 years. He has been an MVP to his teammates, goalie partner, our organization and community. His personality and his love for being at the rink is infectious.”
