Ottawa, ON – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced on Wednesday that Rockland Nationals Head Coach, Justin Pereira, was named the 2025-2026 recipient of the Darcy Haugan/Mark Cross Memorial Award, emblematic of CJHL Coach of the Year, presented by the NHL Coaches’ Association.
Pereira led the Rockland Nationals to an incredible record of 52-3-0-0 during the 2025-2026 CCHL regular season, before capturing a second straight Bogart Cup title, finishing with a 12-1-0-0 record in the postseason.
Pereira was also recently named the CCHL Coach of the Year for a second consecutive season, an achievement accomplished only four times in league history. A very well deserving candidate who has now been recognized for his efforts and ability at the National level.
