Massimo Gentile netted both Junior Senators goals, while William Desmarais turned aside 24 shots, however Flin Flon battled back on goals from Jaeden Mercier and Matt Raymond to force overtime where Xavier Lapointe scored the game-winner just 21 seconds in.
Ottawa is next in action Monday at 2PM ET when they face the Soo Thunderbirds from the Norther Ontario Junior Hockey League.
