Centennial Cup Day Two Recap | Navan Grads Win First Game

Ottawa, ON – The Navan Grads played in their first game of the 2024 Centennial Cup on Friday afternoon. Defeating the College Francais De Longueuil by 5-1.

In a commanding performance, the Navan Grads dominated College Francais De Longueuil with a final score of 5-1. Navan set the pace early in the 1st period with a goal from Shaan Kingwell. The 2nd period saw Navan extend their lead with goals from Cristobal Tola, Sebbie Johnson, and another from Kingwell. Despite a strong effort from College Francais, they struggled to penetrate Navan’s defense. In the 3rd period, Colin MacDougall sealed the victory for Navan with another goal. The goaltending prowess of Jaeden Nelson was instrumental in securing the win, making an impressive 30 saves throughout the game.
