Ottawa, ON – The Navan Grads had a matchup against the Calgary Canucks (AJHL). After 60 minutes the game moved to overtime, then moved to a shootout to decide the winner. The Grads lost 4-3.

Navan started strong with goals by Cristobal Tola and Shaan Kingwell in the 1st, and Sebbie Johnson adding one in the 2nd. However, despite Jaeden Nelson’s stellar goaltending with 29 saves, Navan couldn’t find the net in the 3rd or overtime. Colin MacDougall’s shootout goal provided a glimmer of hope, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
