CCM Performers of the Month announced for December

 

The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for December.

Luke Grainger of the Hawkesbury Hawks is the Player of the Month, Mathieu Chenier, also from the Hawkesbury Hawks claims Goaltender of the Month, while Vincent Labelle from the Rockland Nationals earns Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | LUKE GRAINGER

The 1999 born Beaconsfield, QC native and Western Michigan University commit led all players with 17 points (5G, 12A) in 8 games of action. The CCHL leading scorer picked up points in all 8 games, while adding multi-point efforts in 5 games, including a hat-trick and 1st star performance against Ottawa. 

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | MATHIEU CHENIER

The 2000 born Hammond, ON native posted a 5-0-1 record in December, while sporting a 1.81 GAA and .938 SV%, allowing 2 goals or less in 5 of his 6 starts. After making 37-saves in an overtime loss to Navan, Chenier reeled off 5 straight victories, stopping 129 of 137 shots. 

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | VINCENT LABELLE

The 2002 born Ottawa, ON native led all rookie skaters in scoring in December with 7 points (4G, 3A) in 7 games of action. His highlights were a 2-goal performance against Smiths Falls and a 3-point (1G, 2A) performance against Pembroke.
