Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Kanata Lasers forward Trevor Poeze has been named the Week 2 CCM Hockey Player of the Week.
The 1999 born Mississauga, ON native totaled 8 points (2G, 6A) in 3 games of action, helping the Lasers to a perfect 3-0-0 record at the Annual CCHL Showcase. He had a 3-point effort and game-winning goal in Friday’s 7-4 victory over Rockland, he then chipped in with 1 assist in the Lasers 6-3 win over Hawkesbury on Saturday, before adding 4-points (1G, 3A) in Sunday’s 4-2 decision over Cornwall.
In 119 career games, th offensive minded forward has totaled 99 points (45G, 54A).
