Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Rockland Nationals forward Matthew Vermaeten is the Week 22 CCM Hockey Player of the Week.

The 2001 born Ottawa, ON native totaled 7 points (5G, 2A) in 3 games this past week, helping the Nationals to a 2-1-0-0 record. He began the week with a 5 point (3G, 2A) effort in Rockland’s win over Kanata on Thursday night, he then added 1 goal efforts in back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday in a win over Hawkesbury and a loss against Smiths Falls.

On the season Vermaeten has totaled 43 points in 43 games. He sits 5th in the CCHL with 25 goals.
