CCM Player of the Week | Jake Code | Carleton Place Canadians

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Carleton Place Canadians forward Jake Code has been named the Week 1 CCM Hockey Player of the Week.

The 2001 Elmira, ON native totaled 6 points (3G, 3A) in 2 games of action, helping the Canadians to a 2-0-0 start to the season. He picked up 1 goal in the Friday September 6th victory over Brockville before exploding for 5 points (2G, 3A) in the Sunday September 8th victory over the Smiths Falls Bears.

Previous to his time in the CCHL, Code suited up last season in the CCHL2 with the Jr Canadians where he totaled 31 points (15G, 16A) in 31 games of action.
