CCM Performers of the Month for October Announced

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for October.

Jack Sullivan from the Rockland Nationals is the Player of the Month, Victor Desjardins from the Smiths Falls Bears is the Goaltender of the Month, while Dovar Tinling from the Hawkesbury Hawks is the Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | JACK SULLIVAN

The 1999 born Elmhurst, IL native totaled 15 points (7G, 8A) in 11 games of action for Rockland this past month. The two-way defenseman had points in 9 of the 11 games, helping the Nationals to an 8-2-0-1 record. To date, Sullivan sits 9th overall in the CCHL point race, while coming in 2nd overall among blueliners. 

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | VICTOR DESJARDINS

The 2001 born St-Jerome, QC native had a record of 3-1-0 for Smiths Falls in October, sporting a 1.76 GAA, a .948 SV% and 1 Shutout. He helped the Bears to victories over Carleton Place, Nepean, and Cornwall. On the season, Desjardins is 5-3-0 with a 2.83 GAA and .918 SV%, splitting duties with Jake Smith who also had a strong month.

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | DOVAR TINLING

The 2003 born Pointe-Claire, QC native totaled 12 points (3G, 9A) in 10 games of action with Hawkesbury in October, helping the Hawks to a 6-4-0-0 record. In 20 games played this season, Tinling leads all rookie skaters with 22 points (7G, 15A). He is the only rookie skater to produce at over a point/game rate and is doing so as a true rookie.
