CCM Performers of the Month Announced for January

 

The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for January.

Nolan Gagnon of the Cornwall Colts is the Player of the Month, Sami Molu from the Brockville Braves claimed Goaltender of the Month honours, while Luke Posthumus from the Nepean Raiders earned Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | NOLAN GAGNON

The 2003 born Metcalfe, ON native picked up 12 points (4G, 8A) in 9 games to lead all league defenseman and come 5th among all skaters in points in January. He had four multi-point efforts and a 3-game goal streak while logging over 27 minutes of ice time per game as he helped the Colts to a 6-1-0-2 record. 

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | SAMI MOLU

The 2002 born Toronto, ON native posted a 4-0-2-1 record with a .949 SV%, 1.68 GAA while picking up 2 shutouts. He turned aside 225 of 237 shots as game in and game out he gave his Brockville Braves a chance for 2 points. 

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | LUKE POSTHUMUS

The 2005 born Nepean, ON native led all rookie skaters with 14 points (5G, 9A) in 10 games. He had four multi-point efforts as he currently rides an 8-game point streak and is a top candidate for CCHL Rookie of the Year.
