CCM Performers of the Month Announced for February

 

The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for February.

Joey Kennelly of the Renfrew Wolves is the Player of the Month, Braedyn McIntosh from the Navan Grads claimed Goaltender of the Month honours, while Remi Gelinas from the Hawkesbury Hawks earned Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | JOEY KENNELLY

The 2002 born Grand Forks, ND native scored a CCHL-best 9 goals in February and totalled 15 points in 10 games of action as he helped Renfrew to a 5-2-2-1 record. He had four multi-point efforts, including a natural hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Cornwall. He was held without a point on just one occasion all of February. 

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | BRAEDYN MCINTOSH

The 2003 born Milton, ON native posted a 6-1-1-1 record, with a league-best .943 SV% and 1.80 GAA as he stopped 263 shots, allowing only 16 goals all month. He is a major reason for the Navan Grads being rated in the Top 20 across Canada.

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | REMI GELINAS

The 2005 born Deux Montagnes, QC native led all rookie skaters in February with 9 points (2G, 7A) in 7 games, which included four multiple-point performances. He sits tied for third overall in the CCHL Rookie scoring race with 28 points (15G, 13A) through 44 games.
