CCM Hockey Performers of the Month Announced for February

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the February CCM Hockey Performers of the Month.

Brett Thorne from the Carleton Place Canadians is the Player of the Month, Bryan Landsberger from the Ottawa Jr Senators brings home Goalie of the Month honours, while Ryan Gillespie of the Brockville Braves is the Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | BRETT THORNE

The 1999 born Bedford, NS native totaled 13 points (10G, 3 A) in February, leading all league defensemen in Points and tying for tops overall in Goals amongst all league skaters. He scored twice shorthanded and added two game-winners. On the season, the Michigan Tech commit, is third overall in league scoring with 73 points (26G, 47A) in 61 games of action.

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | BRYAN LANDSBERGER

The 2000 born Montreal, QC native posted a 5-1-1 record in February with a 1.86 GAA, .934 SV$, and 1 shutout. On the season, Landsberger is 17-14-1 with a 2.33 GAA, .917 SV%, and 2 shutouts.

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | RYAN GILLESPIE

The 2003 born Toronto, ON native totaled 14 points (7G, 7A) in 11 games of action in February. To his efforts, he had five multi-point performances, helping the Braves to a 6-3-0-2 record over the month. On the season, Gillespie has totaled 39 points (21G, 18A) in 57 games of action, placing him second overall among league rookie skaters.
