CCHL Recap | Wolves, Bears, Grads, Braves, and Colts winners Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Five games across the CCHL region on Sunday saw victories from the Renfrew Wolves, Smiths Falls Bears, Navan Grads, Brockville Braves, and Cornwall Colts.

 

F | RENFREW 2 ROCKLAND 1 SO

Tyson Tomasini scored in regulation, Tyson Phare and Chase Hull scored in the shootout, while Sebastian Resar made 28-saves as Renfrew improved to 29-16-4-3 on the season. Rockland, who fell to 20-20-4-8, had their lone goal from Nick White, while Hadyn Gould made 35-saves in the loss.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 7 NEPEAN 1

Riley Thompson scored a hat-trick, Sean James, Alec Hamady, Conor Ronayne, and Shaymus Stevenson also found the back of the net, while Will McEvoy made 37-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 35-15-1-2. Nepean, who fell to 11-38-1-3, had their lone goal from Luca Ricciardi in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 6 HAWKESBURY 3

Gabriel Crete, Tio D’Addario, Devon Savignac, Owen Parsons, Nico Paone, and Calum Chau scored goals, while Braedyn McIntosh made 32-saves as Navan improved to 36-12-4-1 on the year. Hawkesbury, who fell to 27-18-4-3, had goals from Jakson Kirk, Nicholas Brennan, and Alex Urbisci, while Dimitri Pelekos made 31-saves in the loss.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 KEMPTVILLE 1

Aidan Yarde scored two goals, Matt Yeager had a single, while Philip Rondina made 29-saves as Brockville improved to 29-16-4-4 on the year. Kemptville, who fell to 25-22-5-1, had their lone tally from Nathan Merrett, while Alex Musielak made 23-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | CORNWALL 4 PEMBROKE 3 SO

Dominic Martin, Raphael Seguin, and Tristan Miron scored in regulation, Nolan Gagnon netted the shootout winner, while Dax Easter made 27-saves as Cornwall improved to 25-24-3-2 on the season. Pembroke, who fell to 9-38-2-3, had goals from Josh Przystal, Ryland Willers, and Cam Hicklin, while Ben Forget made 43-saves in the loss.
