CCHL Recap | Nationals, Bears, Colts, and Grads Sunday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games of CCHL action Sunday saw the Rockland Nationals, Smiths Falls Bears, Cornwall Colts, and Navan Grads grabbing victories.

 

F | ROCKLAND 5 BROCKVILLE 4 SO

Zach Power, Jonathan Swyer, Yanic Crete, and Jordan Prepszl scored in regulation, Tim Cousineau netted the shootout winner, while Hadyn Gould made 35-saves as Rockland improved to 18-19-4-4. Brockville, who fell to 24-16-4-4, had two goals from Nathaniel Burelle, singles from Trent Ledrew and Kyle Powers, while Sami Molu made 26-saves in the loss.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 7 NEPEAN 0

Kyle Dagg scored twice, Conor Ronayne, Thomas Gangl, Riley Thompson, Thomas Haynes, and Sean James also scored, while Dawson Labre had a 32-save shutout as Smiths Falls improved to 31-13-1-2. Nepean fell to 10-34-1-3 with the loss.

 

F | CORNWALL 6 KEMPTVILLE 4

Kobe Tallman netted a hat-trick, Keanu Krenn, Bradley Fraser, and Chaka-Benjamin Ntumba-Muntu added singles, while Dax Easter made 31-saves as Cornwall improved their season record to 22-22-2-2. Kemptville, who fell to 21-21-5-1, had two goals from Grady Logue, singles from Khaden Henry and Benjamin Campeau, while Jacob Biron made 22-saves in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 3 PEMBROKE 2

Owen Parsons, Nicholas Paone, and Max Donohoe found the back of the net, while Braedyn McIntosh made 16-saves as Navan improved to 32-12-4-0 on the season. Pembroke, who fell to 9-34-2-2, had goals from Vital Dinis and Ryland Willers, while Ben Forget made 22-saves in the loss.
