CCHL Recap | Hawks, Grads, Wolves, and Lumber Kings finish regular season with wins

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games of CCHL action on the final day of regular season hockey saw victories from the Hawkesbury Hawks, Navan Grads, Renfrew Wolves, and Pembroke Lumber Kings.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 9 NEPEAN 2

Nathan Gagne, Ryan Liverman, and Landon Brownlee had two goals apiece, Jakson Kirk, Evan Cuddihy, and Nicholas Brennan added singles, while Dimitri Pelekos and Dekon Randell-Snow combined for 28-saves as Hawkesbury finished the season with a 30-18-4-3 record and the #4 seed for playoffs. Nepean, who finished the year out of the playoffs with a record of 12-39-1-3, had goals from Owen Hardy and Jack Matsukubo in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 3 CARLETON PLACE 2

Owen Parsons scored twice, Tio D’Addario added a single, while Robert Andreakos made 26-saves as Navan finished the season as the #2 seed for playoffs with a 38-12-4-1 record. Carleton Place, who fell to 31-20-2-2, had goals from Mathieu Fehr and Will Soloway as the Canadians will head into the postseason as the #6 seed.

 

F | RENFREW 5 BROCKVILLE 2

Tyson Tomasini scored a hat-trick, Jace Letourneau and Tyson Phare also scored, while Sebastian Resar made 43-saves as Renfrew heads into the playoffs as the #5 seed with a record of 30-18-4-3. Brockville, who finished 29-18-4-4 and a #7 seed for playoffs, had both their goals from Lucas Culhane in the loss while Sami Molu finished with 20-saves.

 

F | PEMBROKE 3 ROCKLAND 2

Pratt Stetson, Vital Dinis, and Colin Vassallo scored, while Ben Forget made 31-saves as Pembroke finished their season with a record of 10-40-2-3. Rockland, who had goals from Xavier Laurent and Kellen Dostaller, as well as a 24-save effort from Hadyn Gould, finished the season with a record of 20-23-4-8.
