CCHL Recap | Hawks, Canadians, Grads, and Braves Sunday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games across the CCHL pond on Sunday saw victories from the Hawkesbury Hawks, Carleton Place Canadians, Navan Grads, and Brockville Braves.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 2 RENFREW 0

Alex Urbisci and Nathan Gagne scored goals, while Dimitri Pelekos had a 37-save shutout as Hawkesbury improved to 27-15-4-3. Renfrew, who fell to 27-16-4-3, had 25-saves from Sebastian Resar in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 5 SMITHS FALLS 4

Derek Hamilton scored two goals, Carter Pilon, Gino Colangelo, and William Bouwer also scored, while Joe Chambers made 30-saves as Carleton Place improved to 30-17-1-2 on the year. Smiths Falls, who fell to 33-14-1-2, had two goals from Conor Ronayne, singles from Thomas Haynes and Trevor Faucher, while Will McEvoy made 36-saves in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 7 NEPEAN 3

Tio D’Addario and Owen Parsons scored two goals apiece, Blake Butler, Blake Hall, and Michael Urgo added singles of their own, while Braedyn McIntosh made 22-saves as Navan improved to 34-12-4-1 on the season. Nepean, who fell to 11-36-1-3, had two goals from Nicolas Papineau and a single from Jack Matsukubo in the loss. Joshua Branton made 30-saves in a relief appearance.

Nathaniel Burrelle scored twice, Jake Laville, Colin Elliott, and Aiden Corolan added singles, while Sami Molu had a 27-save shutout as Brockville improved to 27-16-4-4. Pembroke fell to 9-37-2-2 with the loss.
