CCHL Recap | Hawks, Braves, Bears, Colts, and Grads Friday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Five games across the CCHL on Friday night saw victories from Hawkesbury, Brockville, Smiths Falls, Cornwall, and Navan.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 5 NEPEAN 0

Alex Fournier, Brandon Clarke, Antoine Dorion, Landon Brownlee, and Aidan Stubbings tallied goals, while Dimitri Pelekos had a 30-save shutout as Hawkesbury improved to 22-11-3-3 on the season. Nepean, who fell to 10-26-1-3, had a 35-save effort from Joshua Branton in the loss.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 RENFREW 2 OT

Lucas Culhane scored twice, including the overtime winner, Zach Biniaris also found the back of the net, while Sami Molu made 32-saves as Brockville improved their season record to 20-15-4-1. Renfrew, who dropped to 22-12-2-2, had goals from Elvis Slack and Noah Vom Scheidt, while Sebastian Resar made 32-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 7 PEMBROKE 1

Garrett Joss scored twice, Tyson Parker, Finnegan Kilmurray, Hunter Brown, Riley Thompson, and Ty Campbell added singles, while Will McEvoy made 28-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 25-12-1-2. Pembroke, who fell to 8-26-2-2, had their lone goal from Colin Vassallo in the loss.

 

F | CORNWALL 4 ROCKLAND 1

Nolan Gagnon, Caden Eaton, Kobe Tallman, and Fernand-Olivier Perron scored goals, while Cameron Hollands made 35-saves as Cornwall improved their record to 18-19-1-2. Rockland, who fell to a record of 15-17-3-2, had their lone goal from Kellen Dostaler in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 2 CARLETON PLACE 1

Nicholas Paone and Colin MacDougall scored goals, while Braedyn McIntosh made 25-saves as Navan improved to 26-11-3-0 on the year. Carleton Place, who fell to 24-14-0-2, had their lone tally from Matteo Disipio, while Jackson Pundyk finished with 28-saves in the losing effort.
