CCHL Recap | Grads, Braves, Bears, and 73’s Friday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games across the CCHL region Friday night saw victories from the Navan Grads, Brockville Braves, Smiths Falls Bears, and Kemptville 73’s.

 

F | NAVAN 6 PEMBROKE 2

Max Donohoe, Nicholas Paone, Michael Urgo, Tio D’Addario, Blake Hall, and Simon Singher found the back of the net, while Braedyn McIntosh made 27-saves as Navan improved their season record to 33-12-4-1. Pembroke, who fell to 9-36-2-2, had goals from Vital Dinis and Josh Przystal, while Ben Forget made 54-saves in the loss.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 HAWKESBURY 2

Nathaniel Burelle scored twice, Aidan Yarde, Matt Yeager, and Colin Elliott also scored, while Sami Molu made 29-saves as Brockville improved to 26-16-4-4 on the year. Hawkesbury, who fell to a record of 26-15-4-3, had goals from Nathan Gagne and Jakson Kirk, while Dimitri Pelekos made 29-saves in the loss.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 5 RENFREW 0

Sean James, Riley Thompson, Shaymus Stevenson, Jesse Lumsden, and Conor Ronayne found the back of the net, while Dawson Labre had a 25-save shutout as Smiths Falls improved to 33-13-1-2. Renfrew fell to 27-15-3-3 with the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 7 ROCKLAND 6 SO

Ty Whyte had a hat-trick, Coleman Bennett, Benjamin Campeau, and Carter Vollett also scored in regulation, Whyte added the shootout winner, while Alex Musielak made 48-saves as Kemptville improved their record on the season to 22-21-5-1. Rockland, who fell to 19-19-4-6, had two goals from Guillaume Labre, and singles from Zach Power, Jovan Malay, Ben Albright, and Yanic Crete in the loss.
