CCHL Recap | Grads, Braves, 73’s, and Junior Senators Friday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw victories from the Navan Grads, Brockville Braves, Kemptville 73’s, and Ottawa Junior Senators.

 

F | NAVAN 4 SMITHS FALLS 2 

Gabriel Crete scored twice, Owen Parsons and Blake Hall also scored, while Braedyn McIntosh made 23-saves as Navan improved their season record to 35-12-4-1. Smiths Falls, who fell to 34-15-1-2, had goals from Finnegan Kilmurray and Sean James in the loss.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 2 CORNWALL 0

Kowin Belsterling and Eric Barnard scored goals, while Philip Rondina had a 31-save shutout as Brockville improved to 28-16-4-4 on the year. Cornwall, who fell to 24-24-3-2, had a 28-save performance from Cameron Hollands in the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 HAWKESBURY 0

Matthew O’Doherty, Matthew Yakubowski, Coleman Bennett, and Benjamin Campeau tallied goals, while Jacob Biron had a 43-save shutout as Kemptville improved their season record to 25-21-5-1. Hawkesbury, who fell to 27-17-4-3, had a 40-save from Dimitri Pelekos in the loss.

Sam Grabner and Massimo Gentile scored in regulation, while Connor Shibley made 30-saves as Ottawa improved their CCHL-best record to 39-8-3-2. Rockland, who fell to 20-20-4-7, had two goals from Tim Cousineau, while Hadyn Gould made 24-saves in the loss.
