CCHL Recap | Raiders, Canadians, Grads, and Lumber Kings victorious Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were four games through out the CCHL on Sunday which saw Nepean, Carleton Place, Navan, and Pembroke picking up wins.

 

F | NEPEAN 4 OTTAWA 2

Luca Ricciardi, Joshua Reid, Owen Hardy, and Jordan Graham scored goals, while Luca Sandu made 37-saves as Nepean improved to 6-19-0-3 on the year. Ottawa, who fell to 24-5-2-0 and had their 12-game win-streak snapped, had goals from Braxton Ross and Zachary Losier, while Connor Shibley made 19-saves in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 CORNWALL 1

Cato Ryan, Brandon Walker, and Loïc Prudhomme scored, Derek Hamilton drew assist to extend his point-streak to 22-games, while Jackson Pundyk made 29-saves as Carleton Place improved to 17-9-0-2. Cornwall, who dropped to a record of 11-16-1-0, had their lone goal from Zack Speck-Meek, while Dax Easter made 20-saves in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 5 BROCKVILLE 4 OT

Tio D’Addario (2), Simon Singher, and Gabriel Crete scored in regulation, Cayden Faust netted the OT winner, while Braedyn McIntosh made 16-saves in the relief effort as Navan improved to 20-8-2-0. Brockville, who fell to 14-13-1-0, had goals from Kowin Belsterling, Lucas Culhane, Aiden Corolan, and Thomas Haynes, while Sami Molu made 32-saves in the loss.

 

F | PEMBROKE 4 RENFREW 3 SO

Sasha Trudel (2) and Vital Dinis scored in regulation, Cam Hicklin scored the Shootout winner, while Ben Forget made 47-saves as Pembroke improved to 7-17-1-1 on the season. Renfrew, who fell to 16-8-1-2, had two goals from Tyson Tomasini and a single from Robert Martiniello, while Sebastian Resar finished with 30-saves in the loss.
