CCHL Recap | Five Games Friday Night

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were five games across the CCHL region Friday night with victories coming from Brockville, Hawkesbury, Carleton Place, Renfrew, and Navan.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 SMITHS FALLS 2 OT

Josh Cole and Eric Barnard scored in regulation, Lucas Culhane netted the overtime winner, while Sami Molu finished with 31-saves as Brockville improved to 14-13-0-0 on the year. Smiths Falls, who fell to 18-8-1-2, had two goals from CCHL scoring leader Sean James, while Will McEvoy made 23-saves in the loss.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 CORNWALL 1

Jakson Kirk, Ryan Liverman, and Brandon Clarke tallied goals, while Dekon Randell-Snow made 19-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 15-10-2-3 on the season. Cornwall, who fell to a record of 11-15-1-0, had their lone goal from Nathan Garnier, while Dax Easter made 19-saves in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 ROCKLAND 2

Matteo Disipio, Aidan Cooper, and Josh Penney found the back of the net, Derek Hamilton extended his point-streak to 21-games, while Jackson Pundyk made 33-saves as Carleton Place improved to 16-9-0-2. Rockland, who fell to 12-11-2-2, had goals from Charles Locas and Zach Power, while Hadyn Gould made 22-saves in the loss.

 

F | RENFREW 6 PEMBROKE 1

Joey Kennelly scored twice, Trent Scullion, Tyson Tomasini, Jace Letourneau, and Elvis Slack added singles, while Sebastian Resar made 23-saves as Renfrew improved to 15-8-1-1 on the year. Pembroke, who fell to 6-17-1-1, had their lone goal from Vital Dinis, while Ben Forget made 40-saves.

 

F | NAVAN 4 KEMPTVILLE 3 SO

Colin MacDougall, Cayden Faust, and Max Donohoe scored in regulation, Owen Parsons netted the Shootout winner, while Braedyn McIntosh made 23-saves as Navan improved to 19-8-2-0. Kemptville, who fell to 10-13-3-1 had two goals from Hunter Brazier, a single from Benjamin Campeau, while Alex Musielak made a whopping 51-saves in the losing effort.
