CCHL Recap | Five Games Friday Night

 

OTTAWA, ON – Five games across the CCHL region on Friday saw victories from Cornwall, Hawkesbury, Smiths Falls, Rockland, and Ottawa.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 CORNWALL 3

Colin Elliott tallied a third period hat-trick, Nathaniel Burelle and Lucas Culhane also scored, while Sami Molu made 26-saves as Brockville improved to 13-12-0-0 on the year. Cornwall, who fell to 11-14-1-0, had goals from Dominic Martin, Bradley Fraser, and Ben Lapier, while Dax Easter made 17-saves in the loss.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 KEMPTVILLE 2

Alex Fournier, Remi Gagne, and Thomas Beaudoin scored, while Dimitri Pelekos made 45-saves as Hawkesbury improved to a record of 12-9-2-3. Kemptville, who fell to 10-12-3-0, had goals from Khaden Henry and Hunter Brazier, while Jacob Biron made 33-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 6 NEPEAN 3

Trevor Faucher scored twice, Conor Ronayne, Thomas Gangl, Alec Hamady, and Garrett Joss added singles, while Will McEvoy made 29-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 17-8-0-1. Nepean, who dropped to 5-17-0-3, had goals from Coleman Bennett, Owen Hardy, and Tristan Caldwell in the loss.

 

F | ROCKLAND 7 PEMBROKE 5

Nick White and Kyle Leonard scored two goals apiece, Jordan Prepszl, Adriano Lombardo-Tullo, and Patrick Lanthier also scored, while Ben Grahame made 26-saves as Rockland improved to a record of 11-10-2-2. Pembroke, who fell to 5-16-1-1, had two goals from Brett Richardson, singles from Josh Pryzstal, Alex Urbisci, and Cam Hicklin, while Ben Forget made 31-saves in the loss.

 

F | OTTAWA 5 CARLETON PLACE 3

Vincent Velocci scored two goals, Zachary Losier, Anton Sorensen, and Owen Protz also found the back of the net, while Connor Shibley made 35-saves as Ottawa improved their CCHL-leading record to 21-4-2-0. Carleton Place, who fell to 14-8-0-2, had goals from Derek Hamilton, Josh Penney, and Matteo Disipio, while Jackson Pundyk made 32-saves in the loss.
