CCHL Recap | Five Game Friday Across CCHL Region

 

OTTAWA, ON – A busy Friday night saw 10 teams in action with Cornwall, Brockville, Navan, Kemptville, and Rockland picking up victories.

 

F | CORNWALL 3 HAWKESBURY 2 SO

John Richer scored in regulation as well as the shootout winner, Kobe Tallman also found the back of the net, while Cameron Hollands made 28-saves and was perfect in the shootout in his debut as Cornwall improved to 7-5-1-0 on the season. Hawkesbury, who fell to 7-3-1-2, had both their goals from Landon Brownlee, while Dimitri Pelekos made 35-saves in the losing effort.

 

BROCKVILLE 3 PEMBROKE 1

Aidan Yarde, Luke Tchor, and Eric Barnard scored goals, while Philip Rondina made 27-saves as Brockville improved to 6-6-0-0. Pembroke, who saw their record drop to 2-8-0-1, had their lone goal from Lucas Legualt, while Ben Forget made 24-saves in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 3 SMITHS FALLS 1

Blake Butler, Nicholas Paone, and Calum Chau scored goals, while Diego D’Alessandro made 46-saves as Navan improved to 8-4-2-0 on the year. Smiths Falls, who fell to 8-4-0-1, had their lone goal from Shaymus Stevenson, while Dawson Labre made 41-saves on the losing end of things.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 NEPEAN 1

Ty Whyte netted a hat-trick, Matt Thomas scored a single, while Jacob Biron made 24-saves as Kemptville improved on the season to 4-6-2-0. Nepean, who fell to 3-7-0-2, had their lone tally from Joshua Reid, while Gage Stewart made 33-saves in the loss.

 

F | ROCKLAND 4 RENFREW 3 OT

Jordan Prepszl scored his first two career CCHL goals, including the overtime winner, Nicholas White and Charles Locas also scored, while Hadyn Gould made 39-saves as Rockland improved to 7-3-1-1. Renfrew, who fell to 7-3-1-1, had goals from Joey Kennelly, Will Ralston, and Elvis Slack, while Sebastian Resar made 29-saves in the loss.
