CCHL Recap | Colts, 73’s, and Junior Senators victorious Saturday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Three games of action on Saturday saw victories from the Cornwall Colts, Kemptville 73’s, and Ottawa Junior Senators.

 

F | CORNWALL 10 NEPEAN 1

Keanu Krenn, Nathan Garnier, and Bradley Fraser scored two goals apiece, Kobe Tallman, Caden Eaton, Fernand-Olivier Perron, and Justin Ouellette scored singles, while Dax Easter made 22-saves as Cornwall improved to 23-23-2-2 on the season. Nepean, who fell to 11-35-1-3, had their lone goal from Curtiss Sturgeon in the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 NEPEAN 3 OT

Grady Logue and Hunter Brazier scored two goals each with Brazier netting the overtime winner, while Jacob Biron made 39-saves as Kemptville improved to 23-21-5-1 on the year. Renfrew, who fell to 27-15-4-3, had goals from Joey Kennelly, Elvis Slack, and Brody Simpson, while Aaron Matthews made 22-saves in the loss.

Liam Lucas, Mickael Hebert, James Taylor, Will Murphy, Chase Lammi, and Emile Villiard scored goals, while Rorke Applebee made 24-saves as Ottawa improved their CCHL-best record to 38-8-3-2. Rockland, who fell to 19-20-4-6, had goals from Tim Cousineau and Kellen Dostaler, while Mael Gendron made 26-saves in the loss.
