CCHL Recap | Canadians and Hawks Wednesday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games across the CCHL on Wednesday saw the Carleton Place Canadians and Hawkesbury Hawks get into the win column.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 OTTAWA 2 OT

Owen Rainey and Brandon Walker scored in regulation, Derek Hamilton netted the overtime winner, while Jackson Pundyk made 32-saves as Carleton Place improved their season record to 21-11-0-2. Ottawa, who fell to 27-5-3-1, had goals from Vincent Velocci and Anton Sorensen, while Rorke Applebee made 23-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 5 PEMBROKE 3

Nathan Gagne, Alex Fournier, Antoine Dorion, Remi Gelinas, and Ryan Liverman tallied goals, while Dekon Randell-Snow made 26-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 18-11-3-3. Pembroke, who fell to 7-22-2-1, had goals from Cam Hicklin, Colin Vassallo, and Vital Dinis, while Ben Forget made 27-saves in the loss.
