CCHL Recap | Braves, Hawks, Colts, 73’s, and Raiders win Friday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Five games across the CCHL region Friday night saw victories from Brockville, Hawkesbury, Cornwall, Kemptville, and Nepean.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 OTTAWA 3

Matt Yeager scored twice, Lucas Culhane, Trent Ledrew, and Kowin Belsterling also found the back the net, while Sami Molu made 26-saves as Brockville improved to 18-15-4-1 on the season. Ottawa, who fell to 29-6-3-1, had goals from Mathis Bedard, James Taylor, and Emile Villiard in the loss.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 8 PEMBROKE 0

Alex Fournier scored a hat-trick, Ryan Liverman, Jakson Kirk, Nathan Gagne, Nicholas Brennan, and Alex Urbisci also scored, while Dekon Randell-Snow had a 30-save shutout as Hawkesbury improved to 21-11-3-3 on the season. Pembroke fell to 8-24-2-2 with the loss.

 

F | CORNWALL 5 SMITHS FALLS 3

Bradley Fraser scored two goals, Keanu Krenn, Brayden Bowen, and Zack Speck-Meek added singles, while Dax Easter made 29-saves as Cornwall improved their season record to 16-18-1-2. Smiths Falls, who fell to 23-11-1-2, had goals from Finnegan Kilmurray, Sean James, and Thomas Gangl, while Dawson Labre made 28-saves in the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 RENFREW 1

Emile Trottier scored twice, Nathan Merrett and Grady Logue also scored, while Jacob Biron made 21-saves as Kemptville improved to 15-17-4-1 on the year. Renfrew, who fell to 21-12-1-2, had their lone goal from Tyson Tomasini, while Sebastian Resar made 33-saves in the loss.

 

F | NEPEAN 4 ROCKLAND 2

Josh Reid scored two goals, Luca Ricciardi and Luke Posthumus also scored, while Luca Sandu made 36-saves as Nepean improved to 10-24-1-3 on the season. Rockland, who dropped to 15-16-2-2, had goals from Yanic Crete and Bradley Leblanc in the loss.
