CCHL Recap | Bears & Junior Senators winners Saturday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games Saturday night saw the Smiths Falls Bears and Ottawa Junior Senators picking up victories to finish their regular seasons as Division winners.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 4 ROCKLAND 1

Sean James, Finnegan Kilmurray, Ty Campbell, and Owen Watson scored goals, while Will McEvoy made 23-saves as Smiths Falls finished atop the Robinson Division with a 37-15-1-2 record.  Rockland, who fell to 20-22-4-8, had their lone goal from Tim Cousineau, while Mathieu Sauve made 37-saves in the loss.

 

F | OTTAWA 3 PEMBROKE 2

Chase Lammi scored twice, Jacob Winsor scored as well, while Connor Shibley made 31-saves as Ottawa finished 1st overall in the CCHL with a record of 42-8-3-2 and earned home-ice through out the postseason. Pembroke, who fell to 9-40-2-3, had goals from Colin Vassallo and Sacha Trudel, while Isaac Wilson made 49-saves in the losing effort.
