CCHL Recap | Bears & 73’s Tuesday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games across the CCHL circuit Tuesday night saw overtime victories from the Smiths Falls Bears and Kemptville 73’s.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 6 CARLETON PLACE 5 OT

Conor Ronayne scored twice, including the overtime winner, Thomas Haynes, Kyle Dagg, Trevor Faucher, and Riley Thompson also found the back of the net, while Dawson Labre made 19-saves as Smiths Falls improved their Robinson Division leading record to 34-14-1-2. Carleton Place, who fell to 30-17-2-2, had two goals from Matteo Disipio, singles from Caton Ryan, Brandon Walker, and Will Soloway, while Joe Chambers made 24-saves in the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 CORNWALL 3 OT

Matthew Yakubowski, Ty Whyte, and Emile Trottier scored in regulation, Coleman Bennett redirecting home the OT winner, while Alex Musielak made 45-saves as Kemptville improved to 24-21-5-1 on the year. Cornwall, who dropped to 23-23-3-2, had two goals from Keanu Krenn, a single from Justin Ouellette, while Dax Easter made 30-saves in the loss.
