CCHL Recap | 73’s and Bears win in extra time

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games of CCHL action on Tuesday saw the Kemptville 73’s and Smiths Falls Bears pick up extra time victories.

Emile Trottier scored twice, Grady Logue added a single, Hunter Brazier netted the shootout winner, while Jacob Biron made 28-saves as Kemptville improved their season record to 14-17-4-1. Pembroke, who fell to 8-23-2-2, had goals from Vital Dinis, Pratt Stetson, and Ryan McNally found the back of the net, while Isaac Wilson made 48-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 3 BROCKVILLE 2 OT

Conor Ronayne and Thomas Haynes scored in regulation, Matthew Dimaline scored the overtime winner, while Will McEvoy made 19-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 23-10-1-2. Brockville, who fell to 17-15-4-1, had two goals from Aidan Yarde, while Sami Molu made 23-saves in the loss.
