CCHL Recap | 10 teams in action Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were five games of action across the CCHL region on Sunday which saw the Brockville Braves, Kemptville 73’s, Carleton Place Canadians, Navan Grads, and Ottawa Junior Senators pick up victories. 

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 SMITHS FALLS 0

Matthew Yeager, Jake Laville, and Eric Barnard scored goals, while Sami Molu made 32-saves for his second straight shutout as Brockville improved to 12-12-0-0 on the season. Smiths Falls, who fell to 16-8-0-1, had a 27-saves effort from Dawson Labre in the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 2 NEPEAN 0

Khaden Henry and Hunter Brazier found the back of the net, while Jacob Biron made 31-saves for the shutout as Kemptville improved to 10-11-3-0 on the season. Nepean, who dropped to a record of 5-16-0-2, had a 41-save effort from Gage Stewart in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 4 HAWKESBURY 3 OT

Matteo Disipio (2) and Aidan Cooper scored in regulation, Cole McGuire netted the overtime winner, while Jackson Pundyk made 22-saves as Carleton Place improved to a record of 13-7-0-2. Hawkesbury, who fell to 11-9-2-3, had goals from Brandon Clarke, Antoine Dorion, and Nicholas Brennan, while Dimitri Pelekos made 30-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | NAVAN 8 ROCKLAND 2

Owen Parsons scored 4 goals, Blake Hall, Gabriel Crete, Tio D’Addario, and Mark MacPhee also scored, while Braedyn McIntosh made 38-saves as Navan improved their season record to 18-6-2-0. Rockland, who fell to 9-10-2-2, had goals from Yanic Crete and Jordan Prepszl in the loss.

 

F | OTTAWA 6 PEMBROKE 2

Braxton Ross, James Taylor, Lucas Staresninc, Will Murphy, Antoine Gauthier, and Jack Moffatt scored goals, while Connor Shibley finished with 18-saves as Ottawa improved to 19-4-2-0 on the year. Pembroke, who dropped to 5-15-1-1, had goals from Pratt Stetson and Cam Hicklin, while Isaac Wilson made 32-saves in the loss.
