CCHL names Brett Bonisteel Director of Communications

Ottawa, On

The Central Canada Hockey League named Brett Bonisteel as their Director of Communications today.

Bonisteel has been a play-by-play voice in the CCHL for the past four seasons and will retain those duties while undertaking his new role at the league level. His responsibilities will include sourcing content for the league website, maintaining the pace of growth for the various social media platforms and providing more video and interview presence on all CCHL branded locations.

A life-long sports and broadcasting fan, Bonisteel attended Algonguin College’s Television Broadcasting program and has multi-sport experience in eight various fields.

“Brett’s passion and professionalism made it easy to have him join our team” said CCHL Commissioner Kevin Abrams. “He is well known to all of our team personnel, players and league executive members and his positive and progressive demeanour are infectious. He will be an excellent fit with our group.”

The CCHL recently completed its season opening September Showcase and various team home openers are this weekend in various locations.
