CCHL Alumni Competing in USPORTS

Ottawa, ON – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) continues to be a major pathway to university hockey in Canada, with 612 CJHL alumni competing in USPORTS men’s hockey during the 2025–26 season.

This marks an increase of 82 players from the previous season, highlighting the growing impact of CJHL development programs nationwide.

More than 90 former Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) players are currently competing across USPORTS men’s hockey programs, representing schools from coast to coast. Alumni from teams across the CCHL continue to make an impact at the university level, reinforcing the league’s reputation as a proven pathway to academic and athletic success.
