Carleton Place, Ontario – The Carleton Place Junior Canadians are pleased to announce the completion of the sale and transfer of ownership of the organization’s Junior A and Junior B franchises to Adam Ali and Jake McDermott. The transaction has received approval from both the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) and the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL).
The previous ownership group played an important role in establishing Carleton Place as one of Eastern Ontario’s most recognized Junior hockey communities. The organization thanks them for their commitment to the teams, their players, and the community.
Jake and Adam now assume stewardship of both franchises and are committed to building a strong, connected organization that supports player development, competitive excellence and a renewed relationship with the Carleton Place community.

Jake is an experienced business leader and hockey coach with extensive involvement in player development and community hockey. He brings a player-focused perspective and a commitment to establishing a strong, aligned hockey culture across the Junior A and Junior B programs.
