Mathis Bedard, Vincent Velocci, and Chase Lammi scored goals, while Rorke Applebee had a 29-save shutout as Ottawa took a 1-0 opening round lead on the Cornwall Colts. Cornwall had a 36-save effort between the pipes from Dax Easter in the loss.
