Ottawa, ON – In Wednesday night action the Ottawa Jr Senators pulled out a 2-1 road victory over Carleton Place to take a series 2-1 lead in the Bogart Cup Championship best-of-seven series.
Conor Smart and Elie Boulerice tallied first and second period goals, while Francis Boisvert stood tall making 19 saves as Ottawa pulled out the road victory in Game 3.
David Poirier had the lone goal for Carleton Place, scoring mid-way through the final period, while Connor Murphy finished with 29 saves in the losing effort.
Game 4 of the series goes Friday night at the Jim Durrell Arena in Ottawa at 7:30PM.
