Bogart Cup Playoff Recap | Hawks and Wolves victorious Thursday

 

OTTAWA, ON – More Bogart Cup first round action on Thursday saw the Hawkesbury Hawks tie up their first round series with Navan and the Renfrew Wolves take a 2-0 lead on Kemptville.

 

QUARTER FINAL GAME 2 | HAWKESBURY 4 NAVAN 3 OT

Kerfalla Toure scored twice, including the overtime winning goal, Max Klanow and Jeremy Quesnel added singles of their own, while Matthew Tovell made 30-saves as Hawkesbury evened their series with Navan up 1-1. The Grads got goals from Ryan Burke, Gabriel Crete, and Alec Lovisek, while Carter Garvie made 26-saves in the losing effort.

 

QUARTER FINAL GAME 2 | RENFREW 6 KEMPTVILLE 3

Tyson Tomasini tallied two goals, Owen Miley, Charlie Johnson, John Enright, and Mathieu Parent added singles, while Will Craig made 42-saves as the Wolves took a 2-0 series lead. Kemptville had two goals from Ty Whyte and a single from Adam Cavallin, while Tyler Laureault made 31-saves in the loss.
