Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) is pleased to announce the hiring of Kevin Ferguson as Director of Hockey Operations effective August 26, 2024. Kevin has spent nearly 20 years immersed in Ottawa’s hockey scene working in a variety of roles at all levels from minor hockey to junior hockey to adult hockey. While his professional life revolves around ice rinks, when he’s not working he can still be found at a rink cheering on his son in IP hockey and his daughter in ringette. His career has progressed with roles of ever-increasing responsibility culminating with his new role with the CCHL.
CCHL Chairman Steve Barban stated, “Working with Kevin casually over the years, what we were most impressed with was his commitment to a task, his dedication to his work and his reliability. Kevin is ready for this next challenge, and we as a league are very excited to add Kevin to our hockey executive.”
The CCHL is a member of the Canadian Junior Hockey League and Hockey Canada, and as a development-focused league for elite student athletes aged 16-20 is very proud of its strong reputation as the preeminent level in the area for moving its players on to higher levels of hockey.
