3 STARS OF THE WEEK – WEEK 24

Ottawa, ON — The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the 3 Stars from week 24 of the 2025-26 season. Mavrick Brunet from the Rockland Nationals is named first star, while Gabriel Le Houillier from the Rockland Nationals earns second star, and Mathys Laurent from the Rockland Nationals has been named third star.

First Star | Mavrick Brunet
Mavrick Brunet from the Rockland Nationals has earned first star of the week, scoring three goals and ten points in the Nationals three games last week (3G, 7A). Brunet continues to chase teammate Le Houillier for points, but is quickly approaching the century mark with 96 in just 46 games played (25G, 71A). Brunet holds second alone for league scoring, sits tied in fifth for goals, and leads all CCHL players in assists.

Second Star | Gabriel Le Houillier
Gabriel Le Houillier from the Rockland Nationals has earned second star of the week, scoring three goals and nine points in the Nationals three games last week (3G, 6A). Le Houillier’s scoring dominance continued last week as he now has 116 points in 50 games played (56G, 60A). Le Houillier continues to lead all goal scorers across the league and still sits second to his teammate Mavrick Brunet in assists.

Third Star | Mathys Laurent
Mathys Laurent from the Rockland Nationals has earned the third star of the week, scoring one goal and seven points in the Nationals three games last week (1G, 6A). With a strong week, Laurent now sits at 53 points in 49 games played (10G, 43A), good enough for top spot in points by defenceman.
