Week 14 CCM Player of the Week

Week 14 POTW

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is happy to announce that Hawkesbury Hawks forward David Jankowski has been named the CCM Week 14 Player of the Week.

Jankowski, 20, posted five points (4G/1A) in three games last week, en-route to two Hawks wins over The Lumber Kings. The Waterloo, ON native scored a hat-trick and a game-winning goal in the final seconds of the third period to lift Hawkesbury over Pembroke last week.

“He’s been a role model on and off the ice, being a huge part of our success” said Hawks head coach, Rick Dorval”. He’s taught our young guys how to compete and how to prepare themselves. It’s something that coaches dream about and one of the reason we have had success is because our younger guys have learned a lot from him”.

The St. Lawrence University NCAA Division 1 commit is tied for first in goals (20) and second in points (48). Helping the Hawks to a third place, 20-9-1 record.
