Lascelle Named CCM Player of the Week

Ottawa, Ont. — The Central Canada Hockey League announced Tuesday that Cornwall Colts netminder Liam Lascelle has been named CCM Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 14-20.

Lascelle, 20, posted a .966 save-% over three starts for the Colts in Week 12; the uncommitted Cornwall, Ont. native has been a workhorse for Ian MacInnis’s Colts this season, leading the league by a significant margin in minutes played (1,371).

His line on the year reads 10-9-3, 2.98, .920.

Honourable mentions for Week 12 went to Smiths Falls goaltender Bradley Dobson and Kanata forward Jack Quinn.

Dobson, 18, pitched a 33-save shutout for the Bears against Nepean (11/17); the uncommitted Moose Factory, Ont. native’s season stat line now sits at 6-5-1, 2.84, .911.

Quinn, 16, posted five points (2G, 3A) in two Week-12 games with the Lasers; the Ottawa 67’s prospect had a four-point outburst against Kemptville (11/16), and now leads Kanata in goals (12).
