Isaac Anderson commits to Bryn Athyn College

Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League is proud to announce that Ottawa Junior Sens forward, Isaac Anderson, has committed to the Bryn Athyn College Lions NCAA Division III hockey team for the 2018-2019 season.

Anderson, 20, had a good season with the Junior Sens. In 55 games played with the Junior Sens, Anderson scored 6 goals and tallied 14 assists over the course of the season.

Junior Sens Head Coach and GM, Martin Dagenais, spoke on Anderson’s commitment and his impact to the Junior Sens organization.

“We’re very happy for Isaac.” said Dagenais. “He’s the only player that has been with us since day one of the new regime. He went through some ups and downs during his tenure with OJS, but overall, I think both Isaac and our staff believe it was a great ride.

Dagenais also reflected on what he felt was one of Anderson’s strongest assets to the team.

“What we will remember the most about Isaac is the way he elevated his play in crunch time. Year after year, playoff hockey brought the best out of him. Again this year, he had a very good opening round, and we know he’ll be ready to go for our semifinal match-up against Brockville.”

Anderson and the Junior Sens play the first game of their semi-finals matchup against the Brockville Braves tonight at the Jim Durrell Sports Complex. Puck drop is at 7:30pm.
